Definition
Hot MeltAdhesive which is applied at hot temperatures and sets up while cooling

TLH 8556E is a hot melt pressure sensitive adhesive for insect entrapment.

Suitable for various designs of traps for larger insects like cockroaches.

Adhesive doesn’t flow when the adhesive panel is placed in vertical position at ambient temperature.

Standard pressure sensitive adhesive tests are not applicable to this kind of adhesive.

Doesn’t flow at room temperature in vertical position
Good UV-resistance
Low melting point allowing addition of pheromones or other attractants
Complies with FDA Agreement: 175 105 (indirect or direct occasional food contact)

Up to 1 year stored in its original packaging in a clean and dry place at a temperature not exceeding +35°C.

TLH 8556E can be applied by roll coater or slot die nozzle at temperatures between 80-130°C.

Clean up
Purge with the adhesive itself.
