Definitions
Hot MeltAdhesive which is applied at hot temperatures and sets up while cooling
TackAdhesive power to maintain together 2 materials. Tacky surface means sticky surface.

TLH 2548EM is a hot melt pressure sensitive adhesive for tire label applications.

Suitable for self-adhesive labels for tires and other applications requiring a very aggressive pressure sensitive adhesive.

Suitable for difficult surfaces
Allows labelling of surfaces that have a degree of surface condensation
Complies with FDA Agreement: 175 105 (indirect or direct occasional food contact)

Release system compatibility:

Recommendation: compatibility needs to be checked with your release system

Average coating weight: 35-60gsm (coating weight depends on type of material)

Up to 1 year stored in its original packaging in a clean and dry place at a temperature not exceeding +35°C.

TLH 2548EM can be applied by roll coater or slot die nozzle at temperatures between 140 - 170°C.

Rotating slot die nozzle is recommended for low coating weight (15-30gsm).

Clean up
Purge with the adhesive itself.
