Hot melt pressure-sensitive adhesive for vertical labelling of PET / PVC bottles with paper and OPP labels
Uses
THERMOGRIP L 471 - 100% hot melt pressure-sensitive adhesive.
Vertical labelling of paper and OPP labels on PET or PVC bottles. Suitable for high-speed machines up to 40 000 bottles / hour.
Also suitable for non carbonated and carbonated drinks.
Benefits
- Particularly recommended for high thermal conditions resistance during summer or under shrink-wrap tunnel
- Raw materials comply with FDA CFR21 175.105 for indirect food contact.
Properties
Physical:
- Base: SBC
- Aspect – colour: freepack - light yellow
- Viscosity Brookfield Thermosel, 20 rpm, spindle 21, at +150°C: approx. 700 mPa.s
- Softening point (Ring and Ball): approx. 92°C.
Shelf life:
This product may be stored for at least 1 year in its original closed packaging in a dry place between +5°C to +30°C.

The recommended working temperature is between +150°C and +160°C.
(Do not exceed +175°C in the tank).
