Uses

ARDAL T.8228 is a translucent hot melt adhesive for profile wrapping. Also suitable for edgebanding and soft forming applications. Exhibits long open time and very good cohesion. Good results can be obtained for polyester edges and melamine paper with thickness of edges: from 1 to 3 mm.

Consumption:

Coating weight (depending on panel quality): 40-100 g/m².

Shelf life:

2 years in original unopened packaging, stored at ambient temperature. Keep away from humidity.

Application

The panels and the edges should be kept at ambient temperature (which should not be below +15°C); wood moisture content should not exceed 10% in order to achieve good bonding results.
