Uses

QUELYD PVA RAPID is an all-purpose PVA wood adhesive suitable for bonding:

all types of wood, wood panels, plywood.
paper, cardboard, tissue, etc.

Can be used for lamination of HPL or wood veneer on wood panels.

White non-staining adhesive, dries to a clear finish

For use on all wood types

Properties

Physical:

Composition: PVA dispersion, additives

Consumption:

150-200 g/m²

Shelf life:

Up to 3 years stored in dry and cool place. Keep away from frost.

Application

Surfaces to be bonded must be clean, dry and free from dust.
Apply a thin coat of adhesive to one of the surfaces.
Assemble parts within 30 minutes after application while adhesive is still wet.

Press assembly for approx. 2 hours using clamps or string.

RECOMMENDATIONS

Full cure: after 12-24 hours at +20°C.
Avoid prolonged contact of adhesive with metal (risk of rust formation).
Bonding in wet conditions (e.g. furniture for bathrooms, kitchen) or for exterior use: we recommend our QUELYD PVA EXTRA adhesive.
Minimum application temperature: +10°C.

Cleaning
Wet spillages can be cleaned with hot water.
