Safety:
IMPORTANT: before embarking on any work involving PRIMAIRE CIM the separate Product Safety Data Sheet must be studied carefully by those carrying out the work.
PREVENT skin and eye contact. Do not breathe vapours. Avoid spillages.
Shelf life:
Can be stored for 12 months when kept in the original, unopened container, protected from frost and stored at +5°C and +30°C. Frost-sensivtive.
PREPARATION
Preparation should be in accordance with building standards. Subfloors must be sound, of adequate tensile and compressive strength; free from laitance, cracks and structural defects; clean and free from dust, grease, curing compounds, sealers or any other contaminants that would inhibit proper bond.
APPLICATION
When used as an additive for bonding slurries, renderings, screeds and tile grouts:
Dilute 2 volumes of PRIMAIRE CIM in one volume of clean water, then add the mixture to the required quantity of powder.
When used as a pore sealer on absorbent cementitious substrates:
Apply a layer (100-200 g/m² depending on the substrate porosity) of CIM additive (1:2 water-diluted), then allow to dry for about 1 hour prior to the normal application of smoothing compound.
When used as an additive for self-smoothing compounds and tile adhesives:
Mix 25 kg bag of smoothing compound with 1 kg of PRIMAIRE CIM diluted in 5.5 litres of water.
Use clean containers.
REMARKS
- Do not use pure, always dilute in water
- Tightly close all containers after use.
Cleaning
Clean fresh splashes and tools with warm water.
