Waiting timeTime between adhesive application and material bonding. It is required to wait to allow the adhesive to have enough adhesion power (tack) to receive the floor covering.

Uses

NOVAFLEX NL 30 is a one-component moisture curing polyurethane adhesive suitable for fabrication of composite insulation systems:

Expanded polystyrene/aluminium
Expanded polystyrene/plasterboard
PU foam/plasterboard (or aluminium coated)
Asbestos cement/particle board
Mineral wool/laminated board
Mineral wool/plasterboard (with or without moisture barrier insulation film)

Also suitable for bonding other materials: wood, ABS.

Viscosity Brookfield (20 rpm at +23°C): 2,000-7,000 mPas*
Viscosity (AFNOR cup N°8): 40-55 seconds
Dry solids content (3 hours at +105°C): 88-92%
Specific gravity: approx.1.40±0.05
Reactivity on 300 µu film: +10°C & RH 40%: 5-7 hours, +23°C & RH 70%: 1.5-2.5 hours
Waiting time: 0
Open assembly time: approx. 15 minutes
Closed assembly time: at least 3 hours
Setting time: 6 hours

Consumption:

90-250 g/m² depending on substrate and insulating material

Safety:

IMPORTANT: before embarking on any work involving NOVAFLEX NL 30 the separate Product Safety Data Sheet must be studied carefully by those carrying out the work.

Easily flammable.

Shelf life:

Up to 3 months in the original hermetically closed packaging, stored in a dry place between +5 and +30°C. Humidity-sensitive.

Application

APPLICATION

Adhesive is applied manually with a spatula onto one of the surfaces.

It can also be applied by multi-bead applicator.

Cleaning

Fresh spillages can be cleaned with Methylethylketone or Ethyl acetate.
