MELTOBIND 6007

Standard hot-melt adhesive for bookbinding

Uses

MELTOBIND 6007 - 100% hot-melt standard bookbinding adhesive used for magazines and catalogues sewing.

Specially adapted for MÜLLER MARTINI & SHERIDAN machines, also suitable for other machines.

  • Forms flexible joint at ambient temperature
 

Properties

Physical:

  • Form / Colour: pellets / cream
  • Viscosity Brookfield at +150°C: approx. 3 000 mPa.s
  • Softening point (Ring and ball): approx. +85°C
  • Open time: approx. 20 sec (Olinger 06-666 method) at 150°C
  • Setting time: approx. 1.5 sec (Olinger 06-667 method) at 150°C

Shelf life:

1 year at least in its original closed packaging and kept away from moisture and heat.
