Shelf life:
Up to 18 months in the original unopened cartridge, stored between +5 and +30°C.
PREPARATION
Surfaces to be bonded must be clean, dry and free of grease, oil or dust. Any loose or flaking paint must be removed and lightly sanded before application.
APPLICATION
One-side application
For small and long pieces (skirting, profiles) apply on the surface a linear bead of adhesive from the cartridge using an extrusion gun.
For small panels apply by spots.
For larger pieces, apply to the surface the beads or spots of adhesive spaced 15cm apart.
Bonding should be done within 10 minutes after adhesive application.
Place the piece to be bonded into position and press firmly over entire surface to smooth the adhesive. Fixed piece can be repositioned within 4-5 minutes after bonding.
Two-side application
Bonding heavy panels or bonding onto impervious substrates (e.g. metal decking).
Follow the above-mentioned application method, but after pressing the piece into position, pull both surfaces apart. This method is used to transfer adhesive onto the substrate. Allow a waiting time of 5-10 minutes. Adjust the piece immediately into position and press firmly together. The bond is immediate.
Full cure for both application methods is of 24 to 48 hours.
REMARKS
- Work in a dust-free environment.
- Do not use on damp substrates (condensation effect)
Cleaning
Fresh and dry spillages can be cleaned with a acetone.
