Uses

ARDAL HM 195 is an unfilled hot-melt adhesive suitable for edgebanding application of practically all types of edges: wood, melamine paper, plastic materials (ABS, PVC, polyester, etc.), unprimed HPL.

Properties

Physical:

- Application temperature: 190 – 205°C
- Aspect : prills
- Colour: natural
- Viscosity Thermosel at 200°C: approx. 70.000 mPa.s
- Softening point, R&B: approx. 100°C

Shelf life:

2 years in original unopened packaging, stored at ambient temperature. Keep away from humidity.

Application

The panels and the edges should be kept at ambient temperature (which should not be below +15°C); wood moisture content should not exceed 10% in order to achieve good bonding results.

Coating weight for soft forming application (depending on panel quality): 150-200 g/m².

Coating weight for straight edgebanding (depending on panel quality): 150-350 g/m².
