Uses

ARDAL T.7901 is a hot melt adhesive for edgebanding and soft forming applications, designed for bonding all types of materials up to 5 mm thickness.

Benefits

Suitable on speed machines: from 30 to 80 m/min
Suitable for softforming application at high speed: > 120 m/min
Excellent initial cohesion
Good thermal stability
High heat resistance: 70–90°C

- Viscosity Thermosel at 180°C: approx. 67 800 mPa.s
- Softening point, R&B: approx. 110°C

Consumption:

Coating weight (depending on panel quality): 150-200 g/m².

Shelf life:

2 years in original unopened packaging, stored at ambient temperature. Keep away from humidity.

Application

The panels and the edges should be kept at ambient temperature (which should not be below +15°C); wood moisture content should not exceed 10% in order to achieve good bonding results.
