Hot MeltAdhesive which is applied at hot temperatures and sets up while cooling

Uses

ARDAL T.7641 N – filled hot-melt adhesive especially designed for edgebanding application of polyester, melamine paper, PVC, ABS and wood veneer on particle boards or plywood.

Physical:

- Application temperature: 190-205°C
- Aspect: prills
- Colour: white
- Viscosite Thermosel at 200°C: approx. 93 000 mPa.s
- Softening point: approx. 98°C

Consumption:

Coating weight (depending on panel quality): 150-350 g/m².

Shelf life:

2 years in original unopened packaging, stored at ambient temperature. Keep away from humidity.

Application

The panels and the edges should be kept at ambient temperature (which should not be below +15°C); wood moisture content should not exceed 10% in order to achieve good bonding results.
