- Hot MeltAdhesive which is applied at hot temperatures and sets up while cooling
Uses
ARDAL T.7071 N is a hot-melt adhesive for edgebanding and soft forming applications of almost all types of edges: wood, melamine paper, plastic (ABS, PVC, polyester, etc.). Suitable for thick wood (up to 3cm maximum) and difficult edges.
Benefits
- Coating speed for straight edgebanding: from 30 to 80 m/min
- Coating speed for soft forming: from 25 to 30 m/min
- Excellent initial cohesion
- Good thermal stability
- High heat resistance: 70–100°C
Properties
Physical:
- Application temperature: 190-200°C
- Aspect: prills
- Colour: natural
- Viscosity Thermosel at 190°C: approx. 185 000 mPa.s
- Softening point: approx. 115°C

Shelf life:
2 years in original unopened packaging, stored at ambient temperature. Keep away from humidity.

Application
The panels and the edges should be kept at ambient temperature (which should not be below +15°C); wood moisture content should not exceed 10% in order to achieve good bonding results.
Coating weight (depending on panel quality): 150-200 g/m² for soft forming.
Coating weight (depending on panel quality): 150-350 g/m² for straight edgebanding.
