AGOPLAC DI GEL

Recommended for bonding decorative aminates and HPL on rigid substrates (wood,chipboards...). Can also be used to bond rubber, leather, cork, wood, foams, polyether, polyurethane, felts between them and on various supports: concrete, cement, metals.

Not suitable on expanded polystyrene nor plastified PVC. 
Also available in liquid form.

Shelf life:

At least 12 months in its original packaging stored in a tempered room (+15 to + 30°C).

SUPPORTS PREPARATION
Surfaces need to be clean, dry, vacuum-cleaned and degreased.  Clean the back of the HPL laminates with a solvent (BOSTIK SOLVANT n°1). Melaminated panels should be sanded on the decorative side. HPL and wood panels need to equilibrate in the workshop before application, their humidity content should not exceed 12 %. Do not apply on cold substrates (+15°C minimum).

ADHESIVE APPLICATION
Using spatula A4 or a brush, apply a uniform layer of adhesive on both materials (approx 150g/m²/side). 
Adhesive temperature should be between + 15° and  + 30°C. Allow solvents to evaporate for 15 to 20 minutes*.
*Waiting time varies significantly with ambiant temperature, with relative humidity, amount of applied adhesive and substrate porosity.

Assembly :
Waiting time is sufficient when the adhesive does not have any more tack ; then both substrates can be assemblied.
Maximum open time should not be exceeded.

Pressing :
The bond is immediate and does not allow any adjustment.
Roll carefully over whole surface.
Allow to stand 4 hours before handling.
