50 linear metres of 3mm diameter bead per C30 cartridge
Before embarking on any work involving Idenden High Velocity Solvented Duct Sealant 40-113, the separate Safety Data Sheet should be carefully studied by those carrying out the work.
At least 12 months from date of manufacture when stored unopened in a cool, dry place within the temperature range +5ºC to +25ºC and out of direct sunlight.
1. Surfaces should be clean, dry and free from dust, oil, grease and any loose materials.
2. Cut nozzle of cartridge to give required width of bead and pierce inner foil at base of nozzle using a nail.
3. Insert cartridge into a skeleton gun and squeeze the trigger until the sealant appears.
4. Extrude a continuous bead of sealant along the seam or slip joint.
5. Position and fit sections of duct together and tighten, before the sealant dries.
6. Clean application equipment and remove excess uncured sealant with white spirit and cured sealant by abrasion.
